Kwahu South Municipal Assembly Organises Two-Day Next Generation Leadership Training for Assembly Members

The Kwahu South Municipal Assembly organised a two-day Next Generation Leadership Training for Assembly Members as part of efforts to strengthen their leadership capacity and improve effective local governance.                                                        

The training focused on equipping Assembly Members with the knowledge, skills and competencies required to effectively perform their roles and responsibilities as local government leaders.

During the two-day programme, participants were taken through key areas including effective leadership, communication, decision-making, teamwork, accountability, conflict management and community engagement. The training also provided an opportunity for Assembly Members to share experiences and discuss practical solutions to challenges within their electoral areas.

The programme emphasised the importance of visionary, accountable and responsive leadership in promoting development and improving service delivery to citizens.

The Kwahu South Municipal Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to continuous capacity building for Assembly Members and other stakeholders to enhance good governance and sustainable development within the Municipality.

The two-day training ended with participants expressing their commitment to applying the knowledge and skills acquired to improve their leadership and contribute positively to the development of the Kwahu South Municipality.
